What's NEW today?
Took a nap due to a migraine for 2 hrs, that's new for me because I usually power through it but this time I took care of myself better.
Listened to a Julia Cameron on creativity and plan on starting a new project every morning with Morning Pages
What's GOOD today?
Staff mtg at CDM today, went very well and got caught up on my work and did something this year earlier instead of procrastinating!
Took today off from exercise to rest my body.
Journaled all foods and was very careful with food choices, did not eat anything out.
Listened and finished a creative class for IIN
85 days completing my blog, did not think I would follow through with this but I love it because. It makes me think on purpose of the new and good things in my life everyday.
Grateful to have a warm and comfortable home when it's sooo cold outside.

What's NEW today?
Took a cab this morning to the airport from moms at 4:15 (I usually always accept a ride from family but I did not want anyone getting up so darn early)
New workout at blast 30 that was fun for abs for PT Chris
Spoke with blast 30 partner Linda who is also a Health Coach about contracting with county for health coaching independently, she actually told me she was looking for someone to add to her contacts to hire as a contractor for Health Coaching, that was really encouraging :)
New track today at empower
What's GOOD today?
Came home from MT to my own bed and happy to be done traveling for now
Journaled all my foods and drank my 2.5 liters if water, did not eat out
Made chicken in the crock pot so we would not have to eat out
Colin made homemade mashed potatoes for dinner
Cancelled my assessment so I could relax from getting up so early
Went to the store with Colin, spent time with him looking for ice skates
Colin was off school today which made it nice when I came home because he made eggs for me before my workout so I didn't have to eat out at all.
Spending time thinking but not worrying about my future career but know what I don't want to be doing with my education and experience.
Remembered to try and handle things with Grace, not to get upset or angry
Had a great empower workout and blast 30 workout and only missed one class while I was gone not two like I thought I did!
Layer down about 3:00 and just relaxed and watched some tv
Got over 10,000 steps in today
Took the last 3 days off with my foot from working out to rest it and wear my boot

Went to my niece Kendal's basketball game at her high school with my mom, brother, and nephew Kayden
Ate at a new restaurant called Boston's and Beef OBradys in MT
Learned about Drew Barrymore and her life
Found some nice new glass Tupperware dishes
Looked at some new lofts downtown GF to research and think about where to live in a yr
What's GOOD today?
Spent lots of time with family and had fun visiting and spending time together
Slept in
Had fun having coffee and watching an Oprah show with mom
Ate healthy today and was very careful with what I ate and my portion sizes
My mom hemmed my yoga pants that have been hanging in my closet for months
Until tomorrow....

What's NEW today?
A kind act happened for me today by an assistance at the Mayo. I had forgotten my coat last night and thought I lost and she went to the lost and found which is a ways away and found it for me. I thought this was so nice for her to go above and beyond for me when I didn't ask. I thought that was amazing of her!
What's GOOD today?
Found my coat
Finished in class training today
Took a nap this afternoon to take care of my body and heal my cold
Took time to work on laundry
Stayed hydrated

Went to Mayo class today, had new info on values and met my instructor, Brooke.

Am thankful for the ability to immerse myself in school and slow down my workload
Quite VA because it has opened up more time for what I want to do with my life but am thankful for the opportunity to work with them for awhile

What's NEW today?
Became a peer coach with Kay from Kentucky through IIN.
Had my coaching class today with Jayne J and one other lady, able to talk more with a smaller group and have some questions answered.
What's GOOD today?
Had a great yoga workout.
Ate healthy today and was able to drink all my water.
Thankful today for everything I have in my life.
Nice weather this morning.
Got my hair done and decided to lighten more, like it lots better!
Had a great IIN coaching class with Jayne.
Good News for Nichole today with her career!! Very motivating for her :). It's nice to see her proud of herself and she has been so patient through the process.

Went to a new restaurant called The Loop and had a new chicken recipe with healthy veg's
Drank a new wine called Billi Billi Shiraz.

Drank enough water for my goal.
Went out to a nice dinner.
Finished some of my homework that I kept procrastinating.
Grateful for my daughter and the time she has spent with me this week esp her trying new things.

What's NEW today?
Went to Hatha yoga with Nichole for the first time!! Really enjoyed it!
Got my foot X-rays and actually broke a bone in it, wearing a boot for the first time :(
What's GOOD today?
Had great workouts today and burned lots of calories, worked through the discomfort.
Ate really healthy, under my calories.
Went and picked up some groceries to have healthy foods in the house.
Eating some awesome vanilla ice cream.
Had a workout and lunch with Nichole.
Went to the doctor and took care of my foot.

Whats NEW today?
Prepared a new recipe for chicken using very simple spices, filled "my plate" for my nutritionist and finally ate a meal for the first time with a healthy balance of veg, fruit, dairy, grains and protein. It actually made me full and it was under 500 calories. I was really impressed with how much food you can get for that staying away from butters, gravys, etc... I was so proud of it I sent a picture of it to my nutritionist.
* Read a new article regarding Coaching versus Therapy for my coaching class. I forgot how difficult it is to write, I had to write two paragraphs is all on 4 separate articles. I do much better communicating in person versus writing.

Met a new lady at an assessment today, her name was Marilyn
Tasted a gyro at the RAC and it was really good and healthy

Had a good yoga flow workout
Good blast 30 workout
Stayed within my 1500 calories and drank 2.5 L of water
Printed off two articles to read for my Mayo class
My kids are happy and healthy
I have money to spend on things I want, don't just need
Heard from my mom today

Shared a power class and had coffee with a friend I worked with 10 yrs ago.
Met my friend, put myself out there to visit when I was alittle nervous.
Whats GOOD today?
Had a good visit with an old friend, Heidi
Worked out, had a great work out
Had a nice dinner with family at an Italian restaurant
Completed my assessment and faxed it in
Printed off diet info from my IIN school
Had 2 really good glasses of Chianti at dinner, tasted soooo good!
Got rid of frustration with spouse with some wine
opened up xmas presents with my kids
Until tomorrow......

What's NEW today?
Read a new article about positive psychology and the effects a positive attitude has on life and health.
Cancelled a family outing - never have done that before, I love being with my family.
What's GOOD today?
So glad I decided to do this blog over a month ago, when I'm down and frustrated or mad about the way my life is going focusing on what's new and good for the day changes my perspective before going to bed.
Ate a healthy breakfast and started drinking my water earlier in the day.
Put on my pedometer first thing this morning to try and get 10,000 steps today -- total steps today 10,140 yaaaaa!!!
Took a nap for 2 hrs.
Took back some gifts and made back some money (I purchased for others and they had too many gifts to have to give these)
Stayed confident in an argument and didnt feel I had to compromise this time because I did not do anything wrong. I usually blame myself all the time but this is a new year for me and its not happening anymore!!
Cancelled dinner with family knowing it was not a good day for that, saved some hurt feelings on others, husband is not in the best of moods.
Until tomorrow....

Met a new family completing an assessment, really nice guy who loves his mom.
Met a new resident out at CDM today.
Had a turkey sandwich at a coffee shop after my assessment, it was very healthy.
What's GOOD today?
My kids are safe and healthy
We can pay our bills and pay off debt
I can make some money part time working while going to school
Ate healthy today and journaled all my foods
Drank all my water and had some good echinacea tea for my immune system
Had a nice meal with my husband at Panera
Ran to the store and purchased some more fruit
Had a great yoga workout
Finished some work at CDM that I needed to get done, got paid :)

My husband came home from his trip and is getting better from being really sick

Am grateful for the time I had with friends today

What's NEW today?
Made chicken noodle soup homemade for the first time with my sons assistance because I didn't want to cut the meat off the chicken (ick!!). But healthy ck noodle soup feels good to have in the fridge, I know what's in it!!

Dropped the sweaters off at the cleaners, didn't keep procrastinating it.
Ate healthy today.
Relaxed and cleaned out some office files.
Did some laundry.
Made dinner.
Didn't eat out at all, not even a no bake bar.
Maury's feeling alittle better.
Got the flu shot, stopped procrastinating it.

What's NEW today?
Participated in a new piloxing class, awesome workout
Ate a new vegetarian soup with herb based broth and wild rice sherry
What's GOOD today?
Great workout in the am and at noon
Ate really healthy today, attempting to decrease any bad carbs
Focused in my health and less on work but also spending less
Having my house cleaned while I'm working out, I have a great life!
Half way through my book the ant and the elephant and realizing I have to focus on my future with coaching under my subconscious (elephant) not only my conscious thinking (ant)--
breakthrough for me :)
Sunny outside and not too cold, in the mid to low 30's
Grateful for my friends I am making at the RAC, not feeling lonely anymore, thank you God!
Had a nice dinner with my kids at outback and a good glass of wine
My daughter came over to visit after dinner and we enjoyed some tv and played with the dogs
Listened to some of my IIN class work

Participated in a new piloxing class, awesome workout
Ate a new vegetarian soup with herb based broth and wild rice sherry
What's GOOD today?
Great workout in the am and at noon
Ate really healthy today, attempting to decrease any bad carbs
Focused in my health and less on work but also spending less
Having my house cleaned while I'm working out, I have a great life!
Half way through my book the ant and the elephant and realizing I have to focus on my future with coaching under my subconscious (elephant) not only my conscious thinking (ant)--
breakthrough for me :)
Sunny outside and not too cold, in the mid to low 30's
Grateful for my friends I am making at the RAC, not feeling lonely anymore, thank you God!
Had a nice dinner with my kids at outback and a good glass of wine
My daughter came over to visit after dinner and we enjoyed some tv and played with the dogs

What's NEW today?
Did a brand new workout at the RAC with a personal trainer named Chad.
Worked out with a friend Kathy.
Walked on treadmill at RAC with the Matrix machine walking in Seattle.
Watched the Biggest Losers new season and they are working on childhood obesity.
What's GOOD today?
Had a great yoga workout.
Ate healthy and drank my water today.
Had a great 30 min blast workout for the first time.
Made spaghetti and homemade meatballs for dinner.
Had my fruits and vegs today.
Journaled my foods.
Walked on treadmill for 20 min.
Finished my first session of homework for Mayo School of Coaching and replied to some new people in class.
Re-confirmed my ultimate vision with coaching.
Until tomorrow....

What's NEW today?
Went to see Silver Linings, great movie.
Took down Xmas decorations outside and spent time cleaning up outside, normally my husband takes care of this but this year I helped.
Found out I have metatarsalgia on my right foot and educated myself with a utube video.
What's GOOD today?
Worked out hard in empower class, increased weight on two tracks.
Drank all my water.
Ate healthy and journaled all my foods, looking up calories on everything.
Spent time outside and enjoyed the fresh air.
Spent time with my husband going to a movie.
Paid off a lot on debt.
Put money into savings.
Focus is on saving money to have a better future and not have any bad debt.
Cleaned up decorations in front yard and put bird feeders and sprinklers away.
Had a peace of mind and very little anxiety about our kids decision making, trust in God to help them make good decisions with prayer.
Grateful my family and I a healthy.
Thinking about the future and where we want to be, ie around family, etc.

What's NEW today?
Went to see the Cirques de Laois movie, it was awesome!!
Made a new chex mix recipe with Colin.
What's GOOD today?
Went to the movie with Maury (husband)
Relaxed and slept in today.
Bought some healthy groceries.
Didn't eat popcorn at the movie.
Ate two fruits.
Drank water.
Organized my clothes, unpacked suitcase after 4 days :)
Am grateful that Prancis skin is healing.
Talked with Nichole for alittle while.
Until tomorrow.....

Whats NEW today?
Im really looking forward to finding and trying new things this year!!
Tried a new pasta salad today with all what products and blueberries.
Watched a new show called Suits on USA, first episode!
First official weigh in for 12 wk nutrition program and also received a new podemeter to use throughout the 12 wks.
Pranci was groomed with a brand new groomer named Annette.
Whats GOOD today?
Vinyasa yoga class, good workout.
Ate healthy today and met with my nutritionist for my first weigh in, even lost 1 pound :)
Got Pranci groomed and health visit completed with her thyroid rechecked.
Prancis thyroid is staying stable and her skin is improving.
Went to Empower class and had a good workout.
Im very grateful for my health and my families health and wellness.
Had a great nights sleep last night.
Until tomorrow......

What's NEW today?
Scheduled appt for my Pom to go to a new groomer in the morning
Son went to get haircut without me, didn't feel the need to go with
Started reading a new book called the ant and the elephant, conscious vs subconscious brain
What's GOOD today?
Went to Hatha yoga
Had coffee with my yoga friends
Ate healthy today
Made chicken and rice with leftovers to have something healthy to eat
Drank some immune system tea
Listened to my new music
Attempted to attend a weight lifting class but not knowing the time for the class changed, went even though I was super tired and ran into a friend regarding a new class starting Monday
Got my CDMA work done and set up staff mtg for this month instead of procrastinating it
Asked Nichole to move friends truck out of garage and didn't feel guilty about it
Spent time with husband thinking about a loan situation without assuming or making strong judgements
Didn't eat sweets today
Cancelled and rescheduled my md appt
Sons md visit turned out well with his cholesterol :)

What's NEW today?
Listened to some new information with my classes at IIN.
Watched a new episode of Chicago.
What's GOOD today?
Took today off from exercise.
Had a really smooth and enjoyable flight home.
Had a nice breakfast with mom, Chad etc at the airport.
Listened and finished a couple IIN recordings from module homework.
Am happy to see the dogs and be home in my own bed.
Picked up some groceries to have healthy food at home.
Paid the bills.
Recd some client payments that were due from beginning of Dec.
Organized my checkbook.
Glad that the holidays are over and ready to begin working on my goals for the new year.

Wow, NEW YEARS DAY 2013!! It's time to think about my New Years goals. As I begin this new year some of the top priorities for 2013 are:
Get rid of 15 lbs
Change up my exercise regime adding in more cardio 2x week
Focus on my training at Mayo and IIN
Look for practice clients on LinkedIn
Do not bring anything into my life that will take me off path with my vision
Reorganize my files to center around coaching and only specific work that brings in good income
Continue my blog always looking for new things to do and try, drive a new way somewhere, be grateful for something new, look for a new website, change my website

What's GOOD today?
Spent time with mom this morning.
Spent time with family this afternoon.
I am grateful for having a family to spend the holidays with.
I am grateful to have my husband & son with me through the holidays.
I am grateful for my health and the health of my family.
I am thankful for having the resources to get home to family.
I am thankful for the gift of a hotel room for the holidays that we didn't have to pay for.
I am grateful that Nichole is safe and seemed to have fun over the holidays.
I am looking forward to getting on a food journal and trying a new workout regime for 12 wks.
